Currently coloring this now =)

Finally getting the bloody plumbing fixed tomorrow, which means I wont have to run to someone elses home after work every weekend to do my laundry. That was a pain in the ass, but it was cool to see my mom and Phils rents.

Surprisingly a lot of work to do in school. But I am doing good so far. I hate how they dump all this homework before thanksgiving (yes thanksgiving, I live in canada and its coming this monday). I will probably end up doing all of it on my only 2 days off until Christmas vacation thanks to work all of this weekend starting tomorrow. Yuck Yuck Yuck. Ill just try very hard to get it done after work, no matter how tired I am so I can just art all day. I miss arting. So much.

My new job is ok so far. I'm not so anxious about it anymore as in comparison to a few weeks ago. Now Im more or less meh about it. I don't love my job, but I don't hate it either. Last weekend was batshit insane, tons of people due to the rain. But I got through the worst of it and so far their isn't much for me to dread because I've already been faced with a stressful situation and got through it.

( Of course I still wish I could support myself off of my art and only my art. That would be the day. )

...My plan is to complete my current batch of commissions ,and once thats off of my plate, I will start doing art for me again if money allows. I have tons of ideas dying to get out on paper. I will take the fact I had to get a "real" job to my advantage. Use that to pay the bills(without the only art on the side I produce being commissions as a HUGE plus. I will not feel guilty about drawing for ME anymore), and I will be drawing what again.

Wish me luck. I've felt like such a failiure lately. My excuse is I'm always too tired from work and school, but I need to smarten up if I'm going to make any of this happen for myself one day =/

Now back to work for me! (On art ;))

This was an interesting experiment for me. First time rendering a snake/scales, aswell as aztec attire, aztec temples, anthro jaguarundis. Its my second time doing a jungle scene. So lots of new stuff. I had a lot of fun with her armor/costume.

To be completely honest, I am not entirely happy with the end result( I am just picky, always looking for better), but I did the best I could with my current life situation and am happy I got it done a week before the deadline considering all thats going on right now. Its irritating when people don't make deadlines, so I didnt want to let anyone down regardless of whats happening in my life right now.

I had a nice birthday! Lots of thoughtful gifts to make my first appartment move an easier journey 8)(such as a toaster, pans, etc. My mom calls them "boring" gifts but I call them highly convenient, because we have TONS to buy =P) Im a little more consoled now that I have all this cool new stuff for the kitchen , etc.

I also got a few books ive been wanting like "The War of Art"(its supposed to help out with art blocks or something along that line), "Dinosaurs" from National Geographic and "The Complete Guide to Prehistoric Life" by tim haines. I loves me some paleo books.

Yesterday I bought a stove that was on sale for a good price at sears :)
Phil bought the fridge(we are a good team! :)). We just couldnt find anything decent that was second hand. I work hard for my money, and Im just so paranoid about having a second hand appliance break down and having to pay twice. We decided not to take any payment plans at the stores if we can help it because in a sense we are rich without any debts 9.9, its better that way.

my anthrocon check would be AWESOME right now.

After all of this I will be quite poor, and I'm hoping buisness on the internet will not deplete(that would just suck all ass). So far I've had it ok, their was always someone who wanted a big commission *knocks on wood* 8| , plz furries, buy my arts. Im thinking of offering discounted commissions, like 1 character in color(no bg) for $100 instead of the usual $115. I unno. Just thinking out loud at this point. People make a living off of their art, Im hoping I will still be able to accomplish that too.

I've had my labret piercing for 4 years now. I never had any problems with it. But recently I've been noticing the gum recession issue people often note that comes with labret piercings in the end. My gums are starting to wear. Im starting to feel the post rub against my gums and get snagged at the top of them.

I really like my piercing, I don't want to take it out. But I also don't want to have to cake the post with wax (made for braces) every day.

Very much sadface. I guess its only logical not to sacrifice your oral health for a piercing?

If anyone has miracle solutions to this, go ahead and suggest. But I read that it doesnt matter what the piercing is made of, it will still wear down on your gums because its a foreign object that isnt suppost to be there naturally.

Went around looking for apartments all day yesterday. We saw some nice places, mostly stuff we can't afford. -.-
We went to the police station in town for fun, to ask where the safe zones are. Basicly everywhere we were looking was a no-no zone - theirs more trouble there. Metro proximity tends to be the most problematic areas. Not that I'm petrified or anything, bad things can happen wherever you move. But I don't want to directly put myself in a problematic area to begin with.

Quite the busy bee lately, so I will get back to my e-mails and notes as soon as possible. The longer I spend actually replying to e-mails, the more time I'm wasting on art- and NOT getting to your commission(if youre in that boat). Patience please, I'm doing my best with all thats going on right now.

I've been arting. Most of it is in sketch form right now, and not scanned or uploaded anywhere. erf.

My birthday is in a week. Man, that came fast 9.9
