This is a concept I had floating in my mind since the beginning of winter. I just had to get him out. The general idea was to draw a white stag (Inspired by celtic mythology) in a winter setting. I often have visions of deer with bright orbs of light cradeled between their antlers. So that is what the circle currently represents. I think I would put him in a night setting, and perhaps name the peice "Northern Light", or "Northern Star".
This particular deer is based off of the prehistoric megaloceros, or "Irish Elk".
This piece is intended for fun, so the background will be very simple, not too many crazy details. Perhaps a wash of northern lights or a dark night sky with the Stag being the main focus.
What I do need help with is the composition. Which do you feek works best? Feel free to even suggest another that isnt listed here. I really don't mind that this image is very "formal" or "central" as a composition. I'm just rather undecided! X3 So I far I think I like numbers 3,4 and 5! 2 would have been cool but hiding his epic antlers makes me feel sad XD
Thanks for your input!
